Description

All for One is specifically designed to reinforce the message that we are all working toward the same outcome. The activity itself acts as a powerful metaphor for teamwork, big picture thinking and collaboration, the perfect learning and development team building activity.

Everything you need to know about the All For One team building activity

The objective is to collectively build a 6 m tall Pyramid. Everyone should be focussed on that goal - All for One. All the resources needed must be earned through smaller team challenges. Resources, diagrams, and building advice are available – for a price!Teams work independently and inter-dependently to earn the money by completing a range of team activities.

Each activity requires different skills – some mental, some physical – with success requiring the collective talents of all team members. As teams complete the activities they earn money - local currency - that can only be used in the local store. This money is pooled together to buy the equipment and advice required to build the Pyramid. The more they earn the more quickly and efficiently the Pyramid is built.

What happens during the All For One team building activity?

This exercise begins with an introduction in your conference room. Participants then move outside, either to the venue grounds or a local park, to participate in All for One. Participants are normally in groups of between 12 and 15.

Some participants will be chosen as "coaches" whose role is to support and manage the teams. Other participants will be selected as Builders whose role is to manage the building of the Pyramid. As the activity continues the number of people in the Building team grows until eventually all your team are gathered around to celebrate the successful construction.

All for One is full of variety, fun, and challenge. A lot of fun is built into each activity but there is also opportunity for lateral thinking, team problem solving, collaboration, communication, and big picture thinking. The coaches also add a layer of complexity as they manage the whole event. And of course great communication is needed with the Pyramid Construction Team.
