This is able to be played both indoors and outdoors. For outdoor events you require roughly a tennis court size area. Parks are a great option as there is plenty of open space to act as a buffer zone from the arrows. A good indoor option is recreation centre's as long as they have mesh netting surrounding to stop arrows hitting anybody not playing.

What happens during Archery Skirmish Perth team building activity

Players are split in to even teams of 4 to 7 players. All players are equipped with a safety mask and arm guard prior to entering the playing zone. The playing zone is roughly a tennis court size and divided in half for each team. Each half has bunkers which the players can use for cover from incoming arrows.

Training:

Your session begins with some training on how to shoot the arrows and getting used to being hit. One team will line up facing the other team ready to shoot their arrows. The opposing team have their safety equipment on though no bows or arrows in hand and are ready to catch the incoming arrows. Being free of any other equipment, the catching team can become comfortable and focus on the arrows being shot.

After a few practice shots, the teams swap around and then the battle modes begin

Playing Mode Basics:

At the beginning of each game, players line up at the furthest opposing ends and the foam tipped arrows are lined up in the centre. Once the whistle blows, like dodgeball, they run in and grab as many arrows as the can to shoot.

Teams may not crossover the middle line unless specified (no boundaries)
