Charity Team Building – Bike, Big Cheer

Build teamwork and unity by creating your own team masterpiece. The Big Cheer program will create the satisfaction of changing someone's lives and at the same time, incorporate many aspects of a successful team building activity.

Teams compete in a series of challenges and tasks to discover the vital pieces necessary to build an object that culminates in the final challenge, the building project.

What happens during the Bike Charity Big Cheer team building activity  

This is a fun, high energy activity that is designed to enhance interaction, build teamwork and unity and ultimately create a positive shared experience the team will forever remember. After each team has finished building their special masterpiece which can be a bike, dog kennel, toy, furniture or other equipment, teams quickly discover that their masterpieces are actually going to be donated to an underprivileged child or homeless animal and quickly they discover their efforts have all been worthwhile. All of a sudden the atmosphere changes from a fun team building experience to a real life changing one and this is when the Big Cheer goes up and the satisfaction of making a difference in someone else's world sets in.

This is a great activity that requires communication, team work, creativity, decision making and a competitive spirit.

Logistics

Program Outline:

1. Select a charity organisation (we can provide one or you can nominate one) 

2. Select the type of object to be built (ie: bike, kennel, dolls play house, flat pack furniture) 

3. The group is organised into teams of 4 -6 people 

4. The group will participate in some fun challenges against other teams to win tools and parts 

5. The group will need to locate and find some of their parts to build their masterpiece (subject to time) 

6. Teams will need to work together to build their masterpiece 

7. The Big Cheer goes up as a representative from the charities or those who will be receiving the masterpieces appear 

8. Photos are taken with the group 

9. Everyone leaves with a sense of fulfilment at making a difference in someone’s life.
