Everything you need to know about the Let's Get Cooking event

Lets Get Cooking offers teams an opportunity to come together, to be creative and to share their culinary skills through a fun team based “Mystery Box” challenge.

What happens during the Let's Get Cooking event

In the Lets Get Cooking challenge teams will be required to create a dish for themselves and the judges out of the main ingredients supplied in their mystery boxes. After some initial planning and collaborating time, teams will delegate roles and the challenge will begin. Some team members will start the prep, others (where possible) are off to the shops with their spending money to buy any special ingredients that they require and the remaining team members will start setting up their restaurant experience.

When all meals are ready, teams will present their meals to the judges where they will be marked according to set judging criteria. From this a winner will be decided. A team is made up of different backgrounds, experiences, skills and cultural influences, yet there is one thing that unites a group - their passion for food. This program is a great, fun event for all involved and the best thing is, that the teams get to sit down, socialise and enjoy good food and good company once all the hard work is done.
