Paintball is a competitive team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from the game by hitting them with dye-filled gelatin paintballs that break upon impact. Paintballs are fired using low-energy air gun called paintball marker that are powered by a compressed air system.

The paintball battlefield are scattered with natural or artificial terrain that players use for tactical cover. Game types and goals vary these may include:

• capture the flag
• elimination
• defending or attacking a particular point or area. For example: Medic, snipers and ferrets or capturing objects of interest hidden in the playing area.

The game types will depend on the variant played, games usually last from 10 - 15 minutes.

What happens during the Paintball Sydney team building activity

When teams arrives you are greeted and kitted up with your equipment and process forms. Then are split into groups and choose your paintball marker. Your team takes some group photos before heading out to the range for a couple test shots. It's time to head to your first battlefield and first games of the day.

The team that works the best together in actual teamwork will always win the game. Having a sound plan before each game is very important for this team building activity.
