How many times have you seen a “clash of personalities?” What affect did it have on performance and productivity? There are some people you get along with immediately and others you find frustrating and annoying, right? A clash of personalities can lead to serious consequences. In fact research has found that a “break down in interpersonal relationships” is the number one cause of stress at work. The quality of relationships will have a direct impact on productivity and performance. The more people clash with each other the greater the negative impact on productivity. If it keeps going the workplace will become tense and unbearable.
There is a quick and easy solution – and it’s built on understanding the differences in our personalities. Psychologists have been able to identify consistent patterns of behaviour and these are summarised through “Personalities that clash.” Recognising these patterns helps us understand what makes people “tick” and what we need to do to work together more effectively.
Quite often the clash between personalities is resolved when people realise they are not doing it to deliberately frustrate them, it’s just how their personality works.
As people learn about the “Personalities that clash” and the differences in personalities they will develop an understanding of how other people prefer to work and how to work with them more effectively. These concepts are presented through four unique and colourful characters that people are able to understand and relate to.
We all realise that human behaviour is more complex that four simple characters but the “Personalities that clash” are a great start to help you build relationships and boost success by understanding people who are different to you.
Your participants will be engaged in an interactive and action packed workshop that explores four colourful characters. They will assess their own personality to better understand their own behavioural preferences and how to work more effectively with the other “characters.”
Participants will need to engage in discussion and self reflection. They will develop an understanding of their own personality and how to work with others more effectively.
This workshop uses a profiling tool and there is an additional charge for this.
