This two-wheeled, self-balancing, electric vehicle is amazing fun. Your team will experience just how much fun you can have on two wheels. The challenge level is gradually increased making sure your team is always having fun. This activity is becoming the most talked about team building activity to hit our shores in years. 

Segway 'Seglympics' promises to put the buzz factor back for your next conference or staff development day. Also perfect for group functions and Christmas parties.  The phenomenon of a Segway powered event will definitely leave you with a fun and memorable impression like no other you have experienced before.

A Segway is a self-balancing personal transporter that works purely on weight transfer. It is truly an intuitive experience; suddenly thought and action is one. Stand on a Segway PT and it remains stationary and upright, balancing you appropriately. Shift your weight forward, backward, left or right and Lean Steer technology immediately sends you gliding in the precise direction that you want to go, at exactly the speed you want to move.

Straighten up and gently stop. Segway engineers call it "closed loop dynamic stability control". You'll call it magic.

What happens during the Segway Challenge team building activity?  

All participants will be briefed on segway safety and trained to ride a segway. You will be riding in 30 seconds!

Teams will then be picked.

A demo of each race will be performed by a staff member.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

For each Segway race, points will be allocated to the winning team. Remember, speed is not always the best policy. Accuracy does play a big part with Seglympics.

Finally, bragging rights will be presented to the winning team.

Logistics

Minimum and Maximum group size: 10-200

Minimum and Maximum time required: 1-4 hours

Event location: available all over NSW and the ACT. We are fully mobile and can come to you, or we can suggest and arrange a suitable venue.

(A site fee may be required)

Site Size: Flat grassed area. Preferably the size of two tennis courts

Age group: 12 years to 112years. Age is no barrier, if you can stand up you can ride a segway.

What to wear: Comfortable clothes, flat soled shoes, a hat and sunscreen.

Restrictions: Riding under the influence of alcohol is strictly forbidden. Better left for after the event.
