Description

Welcome to the exciting and challenging “Accountability” team building activity. This is possibly the most unique team building event in Australia or internationally as it combines vibrant activity with key principles about accountability and responsibility. If you would like to explore the concepts of Accountability with your whole team through a mixture of highly engaging activity and inspiring presentation then this is your opportunity.

Everything you need to know about the Accountability team building activity

Accountability contains a challenging exercise in which your team are asked to estimate how much they will earn from a “year” of trading. The team has time to plan, practice, and estimate their performance. At the completion of the planning time they must provide an estimate of their “earnings.”
What will your team do? Under promise and over deliver? Over promise and under deliver?

All will be revealed through this amazing activity.
Between each round of activity your group will be presented with the timeless principles of accountability. Through this unique format your team experience an exciting activity while also learning the foundations of Accountability. All the principles being taught are creatively explained while also experienced through the activity.
The exercise and material presented in this exciting activity is drawn from the work of noted psychologist David McClelland who studied the psychology of Achievement.

Mr McClelland found that high achievers were people who:
Took personal responsibility
Set challenging and realistic goals
Managed their time more effectively
Thought win/win
Worked with others in an accountable culture

Which specific area of Accountability would you like to work on through this engaging and motivating activity? Holding others to account? Personal Responsibility? Setting SMARTer goals? The Accountability Team Building Event can be tailored to deliver the specific concepts of your choosing.

What happens during the Accountability team building activity?

Your group is split into smaller teams of roughly 8 people. Each team either selects a leader or has a leader nominated. The whole group is introduced to a vibrant and entertaining entrepreneur who explains the "money making" activity. Teams then plan and estimate their earning potential before engaging in the first "year" of production. There are three "years" of production so your team has the opportunity to improve their performance both in earning and in estimating their earning. Between each year of production your exciting presenter outlines appropriate Accountability principles. But wait, there's more -  This exercise also explores Leadership, creativity, initiative, and more.
