Challenge your teams by rounding round the city completing challenges based on the provided clues.

You can race around the City or start in the City and finish at Glenelg. Going through major checkpoints, using multiple modes of transport and seeing the hot spots of Adelaide, there will be team challenges along the way.

We tally the times of each leg to find the quickest team HOWEVER – if teams complete extra challenges and utilise multiple modes of transport as well as take photos of their team in front of Adelaide’s monuments along the way then they can receive time reductions meaning the fastest team may not always be a winner.

What happens during the Amazing Race team building activity?

At each checkpoint, there is a physical challenge. These challenges are based around the dysfunctions of a team including the absence of trust, fear of conflict, inattention to results, lack of commitment and lack of accountability.

There are a number of starting points depending on your office location or desired finish point. You can select these at the time of booking.

The checkpoints have the group move through most of the Adelaide CBD, including Elder Park where we compete in a paddle boat race. When open the race enters the Adelaide Central Market too.

The aim of the race is to be the fastest team. This does not necessarily mean that they are the first one to the finish line though, it comes down to the teams being creative, collecting the most clues and completing the challenges and receiving time deductions. i.e. the slowest team may complete more challenges and therefore receive more time deductions and then win overall. This can be tailored to nearly any location in South Australia, and for groups sizes of 10 to 200.

An Amazing Race in Adelaide can be for a half or full day and can incorporate specific company activities if requested. This is a perfect activity for businesses based in Adelaide and throughout Australia, that are looking for a fun afternoon outdoor team building activity before having a business dinner, or staff night etc. Can be used as a stand alone team building event or during your conference as a team building activity.
