This social "Amazing Race" event will ensure that speed is not the deciding factor. Bars become pit-stops where your team will work together and solve puzzles and challenges to collect clues.

The Amazing Race With Bars is a 2-2.5hr mini Amazing Race where two or three of the checkpoints go into a couple of the areas funkier bars to complete challenges.

A hilarious mix of “The Amazing Race” with a couple of bars thrown in for good measure. This game is less about physical competition and more about strategy, team building and fun. Perfect for rewarding hardworking staff while encouraging team bonding.

What happens during the Amazing Race Bar Stop team building activity?

The race begins with an exciting opening ceremony where your team will meet your charismatic event host – a professional actor. After a brief introduction of how the game will work the group will be split into teams where each team is given their race kit including a checkpoint list and a map.

Teams will need to decide the order in which they complete set tasks; careful planning and a clever strategy will set teams apart and is really what this game is all about. Our opening task will ignite the competitive spirit and will determine which teams begin first! Various challenges and bonus missions will ensure that speed is not the deciding factor as you navigate your way through the area in search of our checkpoints which include some of the areas most loved bars.

These bars become pit stops where teams will solve puzzles and collect clues, and if they so desire can have a drink at the same time. We also introduce the elements of sabotage and Lady Luck as teams laugh their way to ultimate supremacy. Once all clues have been collected you will have deciphered a code that will reveal the secret final checkpoint which is a designated bar.

Here we conduct the closing ceremony where we introduce a surprising twist throwing the whole game up in the air; everyone will be on the edge of their seats as the leaderboard changes before their eyes...after much anticipation, the winner’s are announced and awarded with their prizes and most importantly, their bragging rights. Will it be you?

Venue Restrictions or requirements: As this event goes to a couple of bars we are limited to their operating hours – we can’t start this event before 11.00AM.
