Everything you need to know about the Charity Bike Build for Kids team building activity 

This amazing heart-felt program is designed to challenge teams and create an opportunity to give back to the community. Not only will there be a winning team that will face all challenges and build the best bike, but everyone will be a winner when they see the joy on the children’s faces as they receive a new bike presented to them from each team.

What happens during the Charity Bike Build for Kids team building activity? 

Teams will be issued with a series of activities that will require them to communicate and work together creatively to complete them. Once all activities are completed the bike building will begin.

Once all bikes have been built and checked for safety, the winners of the best built bike will be announced and medals awarded.

THE WOW FACTOR

This is when the magic happens. What teams don’t know is that waiting outside are some deserving children from a chosen local charity bursting to see their new bikes. As the children enter, each team gets to present their bike to one of them. What a special moment. There won’t be a dry eye in the house.

We will endeavour to have children present for the handover, however if that isn’t possible we will at least arrange for a representative from the charity to accept the bikes on their behalf.

Example Activities:

• NUMBERS: Teams will need to arrange their 16 numbers into a 4 x 4 grid in the correct layout.
• INTERACTIVE PUZZLE: Logic and sequencing skills will certainly play a big part here if teams are going to be successful.
• THE MARSHMALLOW CHALLENGE: Teams are required to build a structure from spaghetti to support a marshmallow matching out guidelines
