Your team has to unravel a complex puzzle and uncover all the clues to unlock the “Gridlock.
It begins simply enough - the team are given locations where they can find more information. They must then allocate roles, uncover the information, and deal with the challenges they find along the way. They will need careful communication as information becomes fragmented and needs to be pieced together.
Gridlock features a famous contraption affectionately called “The Claw” This has baffled and challenged many teams as they need to follow the instructions of their guide and work together to pick things up from a hidden area using only “The Claw.”
This scenario is perfect for assessing leadership, communication, decision making, problem solving, and general teamwork.
Your larger group will be broken into smaller teams, including a leadership team, who then need to work together and share information.
It’s a totally self directed activity, which means that your team is in complete control of their own success - or failure. The success of your team is easily measured - did they unlock the code and navigate the “Gridlock?
This scenario can be modified to suit the specific needs of your venue or group.
